Couple celebrates 48th anniversary
Billy and Marie Henderson of Palatka celebrated their 48th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2000, with their children at a dinner in Interlachen Lake Estates.
The couple were married Dec. 27, 1952, in Springfield, Tenn., in a civil service performed by Judge Robert West.
Billy Henderson retired seven years ago, but continues to work part-time at Florida Furniture Industries. Marie Henderson is a homemaker.
The couple have three children, Frederick Henderson of Palatka, Sheila Bergeron of Hollister and Billy Dwayne Henderson of Interlachen.
The couple also have six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
