Mr. and Mrs. Gerald W. Schoenle of Cheektowaga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with an Apostolic Blessing and reception in their daughter's home.

Schoenle and Joan A. Brainard were married Sept. 4, 1954, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Buffalo.

He is a truck driver; she is retired from Salvatore's Italian Gardens.

They have nine children and 22 grandchildren.
