Tom and JoAnn Shanks of Hannibal have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sheri Lynn Shanks, to Christopher Duane Borrowman.
He is the son of Duane and Brenda Borrowman of Kinderhook, Ill.
The prospective bride is a 2004 graduate of Palmyra High School.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2000 graduate of West Pike High School in Illinois.
He is employed by Jim Keoller's Farming in New Canton, Ill.
The wedding is planned for 5 p.m. June 12, 2004 at Providence Baptist Church, located in the Withers Mill area of rural Palmyra.
