Barrett and Amelia Blayone were married Aug. 7, 1954, in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Hamilton, Ont.
He is a retired ironworker for Ironworkers Local 6; she is a retired hairdresser for Barrett's Beauty Salon, Clarence.
The couple has four children and seven grandchildren.
