Mr. and Mrs. Bernard C. Hill of Orchard Park celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a surprise dinner in Holland Hills Country Club.

Hill and Joanne M. Kick were married Aug. 28, 1954, in Sacred Heart Cathedral, Rochester.

He is a retired project manager for Bell Corp., Rochester.

The couple has two children and five grandchildren.
