Mr. and Mrs. Jack M. Smith of Eden celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a Mass and renewal of their marriage vows in Immaculate Conception Church, Eden, where Smith and Mary Ellen Brindley were married Aug. 28, 1954.
The renewal was followed by a gathering in Romanello's South Restaurant, Hamburg.
He is the retired owner of Eden Insurance Agency.
The couple has five children and two grandchildren.
