Mr. and Mrs. James E. Kessler of Hamburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their marriage vows in their home; a family gathering followed.

Kessler and Margaret A. Byrne were married July 3, 1954, in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Buffalo.

He is retired from the purchasing/transportation department for Baker Victory Services; she is a retired nurse for Baker Victory Services.

The couple has three children and seven grandchildren.
