Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Pachla of the Town of Tonawanda celebrated their 50th anniversary with a gathering of family and friends in the Shawnee Country Club, Sanborn.
Pachla and Betty J. Ruth were married Aug. 14, 1954, in Transfiguration Catholic Church, Buffalo.
He is a retired manufacturing manager and is a part-time treasurer for a federal credit union.
They have four children and 12 grandchildren.
