Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Wiecjorek of Alden celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a gathering in Akron-Newstead Senior Center.

Wiecjorek and Mary Kurpita were married July 30, 1949, in Millgrove Bible Church, Alden.

He is retired from the New York State Department of Transportation; she is retired from Westinghouse.
