Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Slawinski Jr. of Cheektowaga celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner in Salvatore's Italian Gardens, Town of Lancaster.

Slawinski and Rita Brzyski were married July 3, 1954, in Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Buffalo.

He is a retired general accounting manager for M&T Bank.

The couple has three children and seven grandchildren.
