Alice and Robert Stein - 9/12/2004

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stein of the Town of Tonawanda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in their home.

Stein and Alice Powers were married Aug. 15, 1954, in Ithaca.

He is a professor emeritus at Buffalo State College; she is a retired journalist and teacher in the Buffalo Public Schools.

The couple has a daughter and two grandchildren.
