Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Peskir of Lackawanna celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Peskir and Violet Borkovich were married Aug. 7, 1944, in Hamilton, Ont.

He is a retired steelworker for Bethlehem Steel Corp., Lackawanna.

The couple has three children, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
