Mr. and Mrs. James Hausbeck of Amherst celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a garden party at their daughter's home.

Hausbeck and Margaret MacDonald were married July 3, 1954, in St. Gerard's Catholic Church.

He is a retired electrician for Ferguson Electric and Local 41; she is retired from HSBC Bank.

The couple has two children and five grandchildren.
