Shawn and Ann Janes of Hannibal and William and Brenda Ewing of St. Louis have announced the engagement of their daughter, Cammie Ewing, to Lance Dorsey. He is the son of Dr. Tom and Sue Dorsey of Hannibal.

The prospective bride is a 1998 graduate of Hannibal High School. She will earn a bachelor of science degree in exercise science in May from Truman State University in Kirksville and will be attending Physical Therapy School at the University of Missouri this summer.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Hannibal High School. He will earn a bachelor of science degree in biology in May from Truman State University and will be attending the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine this fall.

The wedding is planned for 4 p.m. Aug. 10, 2002 at the First Christian Church in Hannibal.
