George and Elfrieda Poe - 8/22/2004

Mr. and Mrs. George D. Poe of Williamsville celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends.

Poe and Elfrieda M. Zahn were married July 16, 1949, in Pilgrim Evangelical and Reform Church, Buffalo.

He is retired from Westinghouse Electric Corp.; she is retired from L.L. Berger.

They have two children, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
