Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Strycharz of Lackawanna celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends in Jacobi's Restaurant, Lackawanna.
Strycharz and Florence Szczygiel were married June 19, 1954, in St. Barbara's Catholic Church, Lackawanna.
He is retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Lackawanna; she is retired from Lackawanna Municipal Housing.
The couple has two children and four grandchildren.
