Mr. and Mrs. Carl Armstrong of Hamburg celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends in their son's home.

Armstrong and Jean Gioeli were married June 5, 1954, in Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, Buffalo.

They are both retired.

The couple has four children, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
