Mr. and Mrs. Jack J. Grimes of the Town of Tonawanda recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a garden reception.

Grimes and Betty M. Chapman were married May 29, 1954, in Ripley.

He works part-time for Brinks; she works part-time for Just for Kids Day Care.

The couple has two daughters, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
