Mr. and Mrs. Samuel P. Baynes of Kenmore recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their marriage vows in St. Paul's Catholic Church, Kenmore, followed by a gathering in Pettibones Grille, Buffalo.
Baynes and Mamie C. Cala were married May 22, 1954, in Annunciation Church, Buffalo.
He is retired from the Erie County Sheriff's Department; she is retired from the Ken-Ton School District.
The couple has four children and seven grandchildren.
