Janes - Leach
Bud and Carol Janes, of Hannibal and formerly of Palmyra, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Julie Anne Janes, to Patrick M.J. Leach.
He is the son of Kathy Reel of Overland Park, Kan.
The prospective bride is a 1995 graduate of Palmyra High School.
She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2000 from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a fourth-grade teacher at Whittier Elementary School in Kansas City, Kan.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1992 graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School, Shawnee Mission, Kan., and is employed at DST Financial Services in Kansas City, Mo.
The wedding is planned for 6:30 p.m. July 28, at the First Christian Church in Hannibal.
