Walker - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Jack Walker celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 10, 2002.
Joyce Swearingen and Jack Walker were united in marriage on May 10, 1952, at Blessed Sacrament Church in Hannibal.
The Rev. T.C. Fox officiated.
Attendants were Carolyn Chatfield Schulten and William Dickson.
Mrs. Walker is the daughter of the late Letha and Jesse Swearingen.
Mr. Walker is the son of Edna Walker and the late J. Hart Walker.
They are the parents of Chris Dillingham of St. Louis, Cindy Quinlin of Hannibal, Dan Walker of Bryan, Texas, and Eddie Walker of Kansas City, Mo.
They were preceded in death by one son, John H. Walker III.
Grandchildren include Ashley Dillingham of St. Louis, Katie Dillingham of Columbia, Kyle and Dillon Walker, both of San Diego, Calif., Andy and Audrey Quinlin, both of Hannibal and Hart and Haley Walker, both of Bryan, Texas.
Mr. Walker is a retired CPA after being a partner with Wade, Stables, Schambacher and Walker CPA firm for 40 years.
A summer celebration is being planned.
