Mr. and Mrs. Steve Gawor of the Town of Tonawanda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in their home.

Gawor and Dorothy Peck were married July 9, 1955, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Buffalo.

He is a retired operating engineer; she is also retired.

The couple has two children and two grandchildren.
