Mr. and Mrs. Philip J. Morana of Elma recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family picnic at their daughter's home.

Morana and Teresa LoBocchiaro were married July 4, 1955, in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Buffalo.

He is a retired fire chief for the Buffalo Fire Department.

The couple has two children, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
