Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Ellis of Orchard Park celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a renewal of their marriage vows in Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Orchard Park, followed by a family dinner in Mansard Inn.
Ellis and Evelyn Gerwitz were married July 17, 1945, in St. Teresa Catholic Church, Buffalo.
He is retired from Hickman, Coward & Wattles, Buffalo; she is retired from the Orchard Park Post Office.
The couple has a daughter and three grandchildren.
