Chrissy Seidel and Erick Lane enjoyed a morning, outdoor wedding July 12, 2008, at Big Bend United Methodist Church, Mercer, with friends and family in attendance. Pastor Christine Groeger was the officiating clergy.
The bride is a daughter of Ron anf Terrie Seidel, 415 Line Road, Mercer.
Parents of the groom are Garry and Linda Lane, 5030 Cassady Road, Hermitage.
April Keith, bride’s sister, Wilmerding, Pa., was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were June Reges, bride’s friend, Greenville; Clifedda Stephan, bride’s cousin, Mercer; and Ashley Turner, bride’s cousin, Grove City.
Best man was Dave Hast, groom’s friend, Sharpsville. Ushers were grooms friends Rick Straub, St. Marys, Pa.; John Majewski, Erie; and Tyson Maynard, Seneca Falls, N.Y.
Bev Bently, bride’s aunt, was the decorator; June Turner, bride’s aunt, designed and baked the wedding cake; Jake Seidel, bride’s brother, was the caterer; Ruth Grueber, bride’s friend, cookie baker; Christy Piccirilli, groom’s sister, was photographer,; and Brian McBride, groom’s friend, was the videographer.
A casual reception followed the wedding at Coolspring Township Building.
After a honeymoon to Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada, the newlyweds live in Odenton, Md.
Mrs. Lane is a 1998 graduate of Reynolds High School. She was formerly employed by UPMC Horizon, Greenville.
Her husband is a 1994 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage. He is serving in the Army and is stationed at Fort Meade, Md.
