Antel - Kornbau
Jayne Renee Antel and Matthew Allen Kornbau were married June 28, 2008, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Hermitage, by the Rev. Gail Zackrison, pastor, and Assisting Minister Ron Tomko.
The bride is a daughter of James and Diane Antel, 1490 Coronado Drive, Hermitage. Her grandmother is Elva Antel.
Parents of the bridegroom are Jeff and Nancy Gergely, 2339 Downing Lane, Hermitage, and Dale Kornbau, 7037 Brockway Drive, Brookfield. His grandparents are Ruth McMaster, Al and Patricia Kornbau and Margaret Gergely.
Abbey Orr, bride’s best friend, Worthington, Pa., was honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Colleen Gottuso, Brianne Pozar, Melissa Hoffman, Allison Kornbau and Kelsey McKernan. Gabrielle Lucas was junior bridesmaid.
Brian Hruska, Hermitage, groom’s best friend, was best man. Groomsmen were Brian Necastro, Ross Trimmer, James Antel, AJ Staul and Brad Hruska. Evan Kornbau was junior groomsman. Ushers were Ethan Sieg, Gary Hinkson and Ryan Kudelko.
MacKenna O’Mara and Logan O’Mara, both Gibsonia, Pa., were flower girl and ring bearer, respectively.
Ron Tomko and James Antel were church vocalists.
A reception was held in Shenango Valley Civic Center, Sharon.
After a honeymoon to Jamaica, the newlyweds live at 339 Cohassett Drive, Hermitage.
The high school sweethearts are alumni of Slippery Rock University. Mrs. Kornbau studied to be a health and physical education teacher. Her husband studied business management.
The bride is employed by Sharpsville Area School District.
Her husband is employed by Ellwood Engineering Co., Hubbard.
