Medic — Beichner
Gwen Medic and Jesse Joel Beichner were united in marriage on Sept. 15, 2007, at the historic St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Orange, Va., by the Rev. Thomas A. Goodrich.
The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. David V. Medic, Clarks Mills.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard M. Beichner, Coudersport, Pa.
Beth White, bride’s cousin, served as matron of honor, and Stephanie Markovina, bride’s cousin, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Evans, Charlottesville, Va., and Meg Soika, Troy, Va., friends of the bride.
Brad Weaver, groom’s uncle, was best man. Groomsmen were James Beichner, groom’s brother; Brian Kite, Mercer, and Craig McGonigle, Kittanning, Pa., friends of the groom.
Following the ceremony, an outdoor reception was held at the Mayhurst Inn, a nearby Civil War era plantation. A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents also took place at the inn.
Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica, the couple reside in Palmyra, Va.
The bride graduated from Gannon University, Erie, with an undergraduate degree in biology and a master’s degree in physical therapy. She practices acute care physical therapy at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
The groom is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park, with a degree in mathematics and computer science. He is employed by Comcast Cable as a supervisor of technical operations.
